2012 SBS Summer Seminar Series     

Please join us as we bring together experts in the social and behavioral science fields for an engaging lecture series. SBS faculty will cover a variety of topics such as:

  • the immigration issue, Latinos and the upcoming presidential election
  • the effects of increased motorized and non-motorized recreation activities on our public lands, management and potential solutions
  • wildfire activity in the southwest and new methods of fire prevention
  • ecotourism and cultural tourism in northern Arizona and the Four Corners region
  • an in depth discussion on happiness, the pursuit of happiness and ways to achieve happiness
  • a discussion on the motivation and portrayals of women terrorists

2012 SBS Compassion Project's "Living Compassion" Conference
