Tax Season is Here – Beware of Scams

It’s that time of the year again and tax season is here. Be aware of scams that are presented through various formats, such as phishing emails or phone scams. 

Please beware that many known scams come from what looks like the Social Security Administration or other official agencies. The IRS has information on what to watch for relating to various types of Tax Scams that can be reviewed on their website: https://www.irs.gov/uac/tax-scams-consumer-alerts.

The NAU Human Resources Payroll office has processed tax forms for NAU employees through the Paperless Employee site for many years, and all email communication notifying employees that their tax forms are available will come from PaperlessEmployee.com.

If you are an active employee and have opted for the electronic delivery you will be able to access your tax forms through:

LOUIE > Self-Service > Payroll and Compensation >Tax Forms W-2/ 1095C


Former employees can access tax forms on the Paperless Employee site directly through the HR website under Employee Resources > Payroll Information. Do not respond to any other emails appearing to be delivering your W-2 or tax forms.
