offer both undergraduate and graduate programs of study in psychology.
NAU's undergraduate programs in psychology provide a broad curriculum
designed to teach you knowledge of psychology and an understanding
and appreciation of the lawfulness of behavior. In addition,
our curriculum is designed to develop your critical thinking and
analytical skills, communication and presentation skills, information
gathering and synthesis skills, research methodology and statistical
skills, computer literacy, and interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
In addition to the broad field of psychology, you will find our
programs relevant for a variety of other professional areas of study.
Our coursework will aid your understanding of the biological, social,
and cultural influences on human thought, emotions, and heavier.
Our approach to these issues emphasize theoretical foundations,
empirical research, and practical applications of psychological
knowledge. Faculty and student research is an integral part of the
