Hooper Research Grants
The Hooper Undergraduate Research Award (HURA) program offers financial awards to full time undergraduate students for research, scholarly or creative projects undertaken in partnership with a faculty mentor. The HURA program encourages students to conduct research and pursue academic interests outside of their regular courses by employing them to work on special research projects of their own interest. HURA applications are judged on both the quality of the proposed project and the educational benefit to the student. Awards are not based on financial need.

The deadline for applications to the HURA program for the 08-09 academic year is Friday, February 28, 2008. Proposals must be hand delivered by the student who wrote the proposal to the Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Graduate Studies, Peterson Hall, Building 22, Room 108, by 5:00 p.m.
