ETIP
(Education Technology Improvement Plan Project)
|
The Project
The Colleges of Education at the University of New Mexico and Northern
Arizona University staff four training centers across this vast area, training
teams of trainers (comprised of administrators, teachers and parents) from
each of the 98 schools in the latest theory and method of integrating standards-based
instructional technology in the classroom to improve student learning.
Northern Arizona University (NAU) is a lead partner/subcontractor in
the ETIP Project. NAU's involvement is a partnership between two
entities at the university: the Center for Excellence in Education
and the Institute for Future Work Force Development.
Teachers will participate in a Technology Professional Development Model
that will enhance their ability to use technology as a tool for effectively
integrating academic content standards and tracking individual student
achievement.
