If you want to use "regular" email (not Bb Vista mail) to send email to all students enrolled in your class, you can use the Class Mailing List tool, classlists.nau.edu. This tool also lets you set up a "Welcome Message" that all students will receive — and that new students will receive automatically as they enroll!
