Testing at Orientation Information

Welcome to Testing Services, located in the Counseling & Testing Center [CTC] on the NAU campus. Testing Services supports student success by offering exams that students may need to get into college, to obtain college credit, to place in college classes, and to prepare for life after college.

Testing Hours of Operation

Fall 2008

General Testing - Tuesdays, Thursdays & some Fridays from 9am to 1pm

ETS Computer Based Testing

ATTENTION: As of August 22, 2008, the Counseling & Testing Center will no longer offer ETS computer-based tests. These tests will be available at the Prometric Test Center in east Flagstaff. Registration and scheduling must still be done through the specific test website. Download directions and map to the Flagstaff Prometric Test Center.

Payment and Registration Information

Canceling or rescheduling an exam MUST be done more than 24 hours in advance; otherwise the examinee will forfeit the entire exam fee and repayment will be required in order to reschedule. Testing dates and times are subject to change without notice.

  • Payment is due at the time of scheduling
  • Online registration is available for most exams
  • To register for a test, go to the Online Registration System.

Two Forms of Identification
are Mandatory to Take an Exam

  • The primary form of identification must have a clear recognizable photo and signature.
    • Drivers license
    • Military ID
    • State or federally issued identification card or a passport.
  • Secondary identification must have either a clear recognizable photo or a signature.
    • Student ID
    • Bank card
    • Social security card
    • Notarized letter of identity
  • No ID, no test, no exceptions
