Mission Statement
The Office of Trademarks and Licensing at Northern Arizona University is dedicated to protecting the quality, integrity, and safety standards of all products bearing the marks of the University. This is done by actively monitoring and ensuring the proper use of all trademarks, logos, and insignias that are associated with the University, and by maintaining a close relationship with NAU retailers to promote the sale of NAU merchandise.
In addition, the office is responsible for ensuring that all product producers return proper royalties to the University and that the royalties are fairly distributed within the University. These licensing revenues are used to support NAU sponsored programs and projects, including club sports, scholarships, and athletic programs that benefit student athletes, faculty, staff, and students throughout NAU’s campus and community.
