Brief description of research and teaching interests:
Dr. Medoff teaches a broad range of topics dealing with electronic and mass media. His areas of interest include effects of the mass media, new technologies in mass media, and production-related topics.

EMF 121 Introduction to Electronic Media and Film
EMF 222 Introduction to Electronic Median and Film Entertainment and Programming
EMF 326 Video Field Production
EMF 426C Senior Capstone in Electronic Media and Film (Production and Writing)
COM 425 Mass Communication and Human Behavior

Representative Research and Creative Activity:
Dr. Medoff has authored five books on topics including:
Introduction to Electronic Media
The Internet
Portable Video (video production on location)

In addition he has authored and presented numerous papers about radio and various topics regarding pedagogy in electronic media.
