Brief description of research and teaching interests:
Visual interest includes mark design, information graphics, wayfinding, visual identity and related systems, typography, posters and other forms of visual communication.
Representative Research and Creative Activity:
Current visual interest includes writing and co-authoring a book establishing the validity of certain design principles with known research in visual perception. Recently completed 2 on-line course developments, one is “The History of Visual Communication” and the other is “Communication Design” intended for communication majors.
