Brief description of research and teaching interests:
Paul is always working on screenplays and television scripts, and this passion to the courses he teaches in the new Electronic Media and Film writing track. Paul teaches a variety of communication courses. His Art of Cinema course is one of the most popular and has been offered in the classroom, on television and via the Internet.

Communication Analysis (introductory required class for all communication majors)
Film and the Other (graduate course)
Representative Research and Creative Activity:
While I have delivered many papers on distance learning (which are available in hard copy) awards achieved while working in television probably have more significance to the new Electronic Media and Film program. Among my more than two dozen national awards, I have been the recipient of two Clio’s (the advertising industry’s Oscar) and three Awards for Cable Excellence, (the ACE is the highest honor for creative work in the cable industry.)
