Welcome To the College of Political Science

Congratulations to all distance students who are nearing graduation. You have worked long and hard to earn your degree, and we salute you. Take a moment to read the following instructions to complete your graduation application. Applications are due to your adviser by November 1, 2007 if you are graduating in spring or summer 2007.

  1. Pay Graduation Fee—The fee is currently $10. You will need to enter the payment receipt number on the graduation application. You may pay your graduation fee by phone at (928) 523-1122 or online at the Bursar's Web site using a personal check or credit card.
  2. Complete the Advising Check Sheet—Your academic adviser may have your advising check sheet and will know how to complete it and attach it to your graduation application when he or she receives the application.
  3. Complete Your Graduation Application A graduation application and instructions for completing it are available on the link Complete the Application . USE BLACK INK ONLY OR TYPE THE APPLICATION.
  4. Graduation Application Packet—Put completed graduation application, degree audit, and advising checksheet(s) together. In some cases, your distance adviser will assemble the graduation application packet and send it.

Obtain Signatures—Sign completed graduation application and obtain advisor/coordinator signatures. Your adviser or local area coordinator will send your application to the appropriate department. If you do not have an adviser or local area coordinator you have been working with, or if you reside outside the state of Arizona, your completed, signed application may be sent directly to the SBS Office of Academic Services at P.O. Box 15700, Building 70, Room 114, Flagstaff, AZ 86011-5700.
