Installation and use of the spyware removal software Spybot

Click here to go to the Spybot download page. Once you are there click on "Download Now"

1. Click on "Open" when the window appears.




2. Click "Next".




3. Click "I accept the Agreement" and Click "Next".




4. Uncheck additional languages, unless you want to have other languages installed and click "Next".




5. Click "Next" 2 more times accepting the default installation. Click "Install". The application will install.




6. To launch SpyBot Search and Destroy after it has installed, click the Spybot icon on your desktop. After you launch the program click on "Update". Then "Seach for updates". Finally "Download updates". We recommend that you close the program and relaunch it prior to scanning.




7. To scan your computer for spyware, click on the Search and Destroy icon. At the bottom of the screen you will see "Check for Problems". This will take some time. Once the scan is complete, click on "Fix Selected Problems.". This will remove all of the selected Spyware.
