Northern Arizona University commencements will be held in the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome on Friday, December 12, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. (See Fall 2008 Schedule). Guest attendance and seating at commencement are unrestricted. Guest seating is on the east side of the dome. No tickets are required.
If you or any of your guests are an individual with a disability and will require reasonable accommodation to participate in commencement, please contact Betty Zanot at (928)523-3312 or email Betty.Zanot@nau.edu. Requests for accommodation should preferably be made within one week of commencement to allow time to arrange the accommodation.
The academic procession will begin from the ground level of the Skydome promptly at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and proceed to the platform. The ceremony will begin as soon as the platform group has been seated and should conclude by 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. respectively.
Several of the colleges will have receptions on Friday, December 12, 2008. Times and locations are listed on the Fall 2008 Schedule page.

Parking is available on commencement day at the locations outlined below. Shuttle bus service will begin at 8:00 a.m. and run until 5:00 p.m. at 15 minute intervals. Information about traffic changes for the commencement can be found at commencement traffic.
Traffic congestion is heavy during commencement. If you plan to attend your college or school's individual reception, we suggest that you park in a lot near your college or school's reception and use the NAU shuttle to and from the Skydome.
