Purchasing Policy and Procedure
Signature Authority
PURPOSE:
To define the authority for signing contracts and other agreements.
The Board of Regents authorizes the University President to:
1. Execute contracts and other written instruments on behalf of the Arizona Board of Regents.
2. Delegate signature authority to other University staff members for limited purposes.
Pursuant to ABOR Policy 3-103, the President has authorized the following university officers to execute contracts and other written instruments on behalf of the Board:

| Purchasing Services: Associate Buyers, Buyers, Sr. Buyers | Purchase orders not exceeding $35,000 | |
| Surplus Property Coordinator | No limit on purchases of state or federal surplus property per University requirements. | |
