5. Can I work and do the Fast Track option at the same time?
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Accelerated Option for second-degree students requires full-time commitment to studies because of its intense nature and accelerated format. While you are enrolled in this program, it is expected that you will refrain from work commitments at least 8 hours prior to class or clinical assignments and no more than 12 hours per week.

6. Where will clinicals be during the year and will there be financial help with travel?
In order to provide varied and high -quality clincal experiences, students may be required to travel to sites throughout the region and state for clinical experiences and will be responsible for travel/lodging expenses related to these experiences. Clinical experiences may involve several weeks of 3-5 days per week at regional and statewide sites.

7. " I have all but one pre-requisite completed. Can I still apply? "
All pre-requisites must be completed prior to beginning classes in the Fast Track option.

8. " I took business statistics (or statistics in an accredited school of oriental medicine, etc.); will this meet the requirement?"
This question will be answered on a case-by-case basis. You will need to submit a course description and syllabus for evaluation. In general, if the statistics course covers descriptive and inferential statistics, it is acceptable.
