The Bachelor of Science in Nursing
merges the natural, social, behavioral, and nursing sciences with the humanities and arts. Students have the
opportunity to provide care for individuals, families, and communities in a variety of urban, rural, and
culturally diverse settings. The program prepares graduates to function as leaders and innovators in nursing
practice. Graduates are eligible to take the National Licensing Examination (NCLEX-RN) for licensure and have
the credentials to apply to graduate school if desired.
