Enjoy the cool pine forest climate in Northern Arizona while exploring cultural diversity.

in the School of Nursing at NAU have had extensive experience working with both students and clients from this
population.
Program presenters will include both faculty from Northern Arizona University and health
care professionals from the area.
This program is open to all health care students, faculty and professionals.
Registration is limited to 15 full time participants. NAU faculty and students
may attend lectures on a space available basis.
Comments about program from former participants
"As a result of this experience, we were able to develop a course on cultural
competence for our University. This is the first course on this topic in Lithuania."
"I know that nurses ask the patient their culture when they are doing their care plan,
but the consideration of it was not as big." (Madagascar participant)
