HESI A2 Admission Exam Instructions

Use this site to register for the Nursing Entry Exam (HESI A2).

The HESI A2 exam fee is $30.00. Students may take the HESI A2 exam only once per application cycle. After you have paid for the exam, print your confirmation page and schedule to take the exam with an approved testing center. There is a $50.00 proctoring fee at the NAU Testing Center. Check with your testing center for proctoring fees. Be sure to send an email to nursing@nau.edu containing:

1. Your testing center (and their contact information if not NAU CTC)
2. Your scheduled date and time to take the exam

NOTE: Nursing Student Services needs at least one week from the date email is received to forward information to the proctor.

NOTE: The testing center will not administer the exam unless:

1. They have received an email from the School of Nursing confirming your test date and time
2. You have a copy of the confirmation page and proper identification

Registration Steps:

1. Enter the Tester’s information. This information must match the identification that the testing center will verify
2. Enter the Billing Information
3. Enter the Payment Information
4. Confirm Purchase information and print the Confirmation page. You will also receive an email confirmation of this transaction
