Lambda Omicron Scholarship

Marjorie Delmar, graduate nursing student at Northern Arizona University, has been awarded a Lambda Omicron scholarship to support her research project about Navajo families with fetal alcohol syndrone. Marge plans to use the funds for travel to Tuba City and Window Rock on the Navajo Nation as well as office supplies.

Lambda Omicron Scholarship

Wendy Schlinger, graduate nursing student at Northern Arizona University, was awarded a Lambda Omicron scholarship to support the evaluation phase of a program to promote breast-feeding in the workplace. Specifically, the program is being designed for English and Spanish-speaking mothers returning to work at Northern Arizona University. The funds will be used to assist with the cost of translation of the evaluation tool.
