Custom Email Aliases

NAU offers custom email aliases for users with NAU Google Apps for Education (Gmail) accounts. Please review the rules below for allowable aliases and then request your custom email address at NAU!
Rules
You will be allowed a maximum of two (2) custom e-mail aliases in addition to your uid@nau.edu address.
In order to be approved, your requested alias must not:
- already exist
- be shorter than four characters in length (exlcuding special characters)
- be in the first.last@nau.edu format (these are reserved for faculty and staff)
- conflict with our abc234 User ID format
- create confusion with an NAU entity, such as a club or organization
- contain any special characters aside from hyphens (-) and underscores (_); however, if your name contains an apostrophe, then your alias may contain an apostrophe
- be offensive
- include another person's name
Here are some options, as an example, for a fictional user named John Q. Public (each of these would end in "@nau.edu"):

Additionally, you can make up an address of your own -- "Straight-A-Student@nau.edu", for instance.
