Residence Hall Wireless Problem Report

If you are experiencing trouble in your dorm room with your wireless connection, here are a few things that you can try:

  1. Connect to another ResNet network. If you are connected to the 'ResNet' wireless network, try connecting to 'ResNet-Alt' or vice versa.
  2. Try deleting the ResNet networks that you have previously connected to and then reconnect to them.
  3. Disable IPv6 on Windows (scroll down to 'Unbind IPv6 from a specific network adapter'; we also recommend unchecking the two 'Link-Layer' check boxes).
If you are still having trouble, please contact the Student Technology Center so that we can assist you further.
