General Stats Information and Documentation
General Information
Statistical Processing
Statistical processing at NAU may be performed with three different statistical programs: SPSS/PASW, SAS and JMP. These programs may be loaded onto office and in some cases, home computers.
Academic Computing supports three packages under Windows: SAS, JMP and SPSS.
Academic Computing also supports SPSS and JMP on the Macintosh platform.
Survey Processing and Faculty Evaluation Processing
The Scan Team also assists in survey processing. ITS is able to supply (for a nominal charge) scan forms that you may employ in your survey based research. This will allow you to have the answers computer tabulated instead of doing manual entry. The data may then be used with the various statistical packages at NAU.
Statistical Programming Libraries
Academic Computing also provides programming libraries that you may use for building custom applications. These libraries are to be used at your own risk.
