ResNet
Connect to ResNet Wireless - Windows 8
Connect to ResNet Wireless - Windows 8
Instructions for how to connect to the secure ResNet wireless system can be found below. It is worth noting that these instructions are easily duplicated for the NAU wireless network in the academic buildings simply by replacing the network name "ResNet with the network name "NAU".
Step 1

1) From any window or app, move your mouse to either right corner (top or bottom) and select Settings. When using a touchscreen, swipe from the right and tap on Settings.

2) In the Settings menu on the right, select the wireless internet icon labeled Available.
Step 3

3) Next you will be presented with a list of available wireless networks. Select ResNet from the list.

4) Make sure to check the “Connect automatically” check box and then click Connect.

Figure: Step 5 - Enter UID and password
5) Enter your user ID (i.e. abc234) and password into the fields provided.
Step 6

6) Click Connect to verify the server's identity and connect to it.
Step 7
7) You should now see a message next to the ResNet network that you are Connected.
