How to Change Your Passwords (Windows 7)
User Password
You can change your User Login password by following these step-by-step instructions.
Step 1
Left-click the "Start" button in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.
Step 2
Left-click the arrow next to the "Shut down" button in the Start menu.
Step 3
You will see a menu containing options to log off, lock, or restart your computer. Select one of these three options. Note that the option you select here is based on personal preference, and will not affect the rest of the process.
Step 4
After you either log off, lock, or restart your computer, wait for the above screen to appear. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to log on as the screen instructs.
Step 5
Type your NAU User ID and password in the appropriate fields as shown above. Left-click the arrow icon or press ENTER to log into your computer. Your NAU user password has now been changed.

NAU Secure Wireless Password
You can change your NAU secure wireless password by following these step-by-step instructions.
Step 1
Left-click the "Network" icon near the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Step 2
Left-click "NAU" in the menu.
Step 3
Left-click "Disconnect."
Step 4
After disconnecting, repeat Step 1, left-click "NAU" in the menu, and left-click "Connect."
Step 5
In the window that appears, type your NAU User ID and password into the appropriate fields as shown, and left-click "OK." You have now changed your NAU Secure wireless password.

VPN Password
You can change your NAU VPN password in Windows 7 by following these step-by-step instructions.
Step 1
Left-click the "Network" icon near the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Step 2
Left-click "VPN Connection" in the window.
Step 3
Type your new password into the "Password" field. If you want, place a check in the check box to save your login information. When you are finished, left-click "Connect" to connect to the NAU VPN with your new password.
