Windows 8 - Signing out of your user profile
Signing out of a user profile in Windows 8 has changed slightly from previous Windows versions. You can sign out of your user profile in Windows 8 by following these step-by-step instructions.
Step 1

Press the Windows key to open the Start menu. In the Start menu, left-click your profile icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Step 2

Left-click "Sign out" in the menu that appears. You are now signed out of your Windows 8 user profile.
