Windows 8 - Shut Down
Here is how to shut down your Windows 8 computer. Note that this process will work on any screen.
Step 1

Hover your mouse cursor over the icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Or press the Windows Key + I to open the settings menu.
Step 2

In the menu that appears, left-click "Settings."
Step 3

Left-click "Power." Note that you can skip steps 1 and 2 of these instructions by using the keyboard shortcut "Windows Key + i." This shortcut will take you directly to the menu shown in the image above.
Step 4

Left-click "Shut down" in the menu. Your computer will now shut down.
