Before using Lync Online Meetings, users must have either Lync 2010, Lync 2013, or Lync 2011 with patch 14.0.1 minimum, installed on their local machines.

Outlook 2013 (Windows)

Select "Calendar" from the list of categories at the bottom of the outlook window.

Select "New Lync Meeting" from the ribbon under the "HOME" tab.

From this window, important information regarding the meeting can be filled out, as well as listing the intended recipient(s) of the meeting invitation. Select "Send" when completed to sent the invitation.

Outlook 2010 (Windows)

Select "New Lync Items" from the ribbon under the "HOME" tab.

Within the pull-down menu that opens up, select "Online Meeting" from the new list of options.
