Requesting Changes to your Faculty Evaluation Procedure or Form


Making changes to the faculty evaluation system is not a trivial process and sufficient time must be given to ITS to make any major changes to your department's procedure or form.  In order to accomodate changes a semester's lead time must be given to ITS so that implementation and testing may take place.

In General you will follow this outline of events:
 

  1. Contact ITS by mid-semester the semester before the change is required to alert us that a change is in the works.
  2. A week or two after the initial contact schedule a meeting with Academic Computing personnel to discuss your needs.
  3. 3-4 weeks before the end of the term (semester before changes required) supply Academic Computing with a copy of your new evaluation sheet or procedure changes for ITS review.
  4. If you are using a new form have 2-3 classes use the new form for testing.
  5. Changes will be implemented the next semester if everything goes to your satisfaction from the testing process.
