Target Population: Rehabilitation Services Administrators, Rehabilitation Service Counselors, Parents, Policy Makers
Need: The Arizona  Rehabilitation Services Administration as part of the Federal requirements need to conduct a statewide needs assessment as to the service needs of Arizona residents with disabilities
Project Goals & Objectives: The goal of the project was to develop a telephone survey utilizing a random-digital dialing procedure, the questionnaire would be administered to households that include a disabled individual 16 years or older.
The sample and statistical analysis design was developed in such a manner as to permit inferences concerning the overall population of disabled individuals (over age 16) in Arizona, including the rate of incidence of such individuals among the general population.   Inferences would also be made for breakouts of rural vs. urban residents.  The questions in t he survey will address general characteristics of disabled individual.   Some questions focused on the vocational rehabilitation-eligible respondents.
