Funding Assistive Technology through the Indian Health Service

The Indian Health Service is a federal agency which provides services to members of Native American groups who live on reservations in Arizona, as well as urban Indians who are registered as tribal members on any Indian Reservation.

Eligibility

All registered members of recognized American Indian Tribes, or any descendant of a member of a federally-recognized tribe are eligible for services.

Coverage

Subject to availability, all medical services including diagnostic testing, surgery, and rehabilitation services. There are sometimes wait lists for all of these services so availability is a key consideration as these services are not entitlements.
