Purpose:

The Institute for Human Development (IHD) has established an interdisciplinary clinic at Northern Arizona University (NAU) to provide students with interdisciplinary training experiences in assessment and intervention.  All services are provided by students under the supervision of faculty from their respective academic areas. Participating disciplines may include: speech pathology and audiology, nursing, physical therapy, special education, social work, psychology, nutrition, dental hygiene, educational psychology, and engineering.

Eligibility:

Individuals of any age may be referred to the clinic for assessment, program design and implementation, or technical assistance.

To Make A Referral:

A referral packet will be mailed out requesting information about the individual's medical, developmental, educational/vocational and social history and the reason for referral.
