Child and Family Intervention Program
The Child and Family Program provides early intervention services to families of children birth to three, with developmental delays and/or disabilities. All early intervention services are provided by working together with the family and emphasizing family strengths and way of life to promote child development
The family is viewed as the primary provider for the child and their unique culture, language, and customs are respected. Services are provided in the family’s natural environment and every family participates in services according to their level of comfort.
The Child and Family Program is located at the Institute for Human Development on the campus of Northern Arizona University. The program is funded through the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities.
