The purpose
of this project is to provide culturally appropriate technical assistance
to new and existing American Indian VR programs. These programs have varying
levels of experience in providing services to American Indians with disabilities.
Technical assistance will be individually tailored to each American Indian
VR program, based on their training needs. Our goal is to: enhance
case-management, administration, counselor services, grants management,
fiscal monitoring, collection of research data and any individual needs/issues
through the conduct of technical assistance from individuals with expertise
in tribal vocational rehabilitation
