What about housing in Flagstaff?
NAU offers on-campus housing for both single students and families. This includes special housing options for students who are more than 21 years of age or have graduate status.

If you need housing during the holiday break between fall and spring semesters and are over 25 years of age, you should apply for the Ridge residence hall and request this option.

You are encouraged to apply for family housing at least eight months in advance. We have one-bedroom apartments for couples without children and two-bedroom apartments for those with children.

To be eligible for housing during fall and spring semesters, you must complete at least 9 credit hours each semester. You must complete at least 3 credit hours during each summer session to be eligible for single student housing; for family housing, you must complete at least 3 credit hours for each summer session or 5 credit hours for both sessions.

You can get more information about on-campus housing by writing to the Office of Residence Life, NAU, PO Box 6100, Flagstaff, AZ 86011-6100; (928) 523-3978.

For information about housing in the Flagstaff community, which is limited and in high demand, you can e-mail the Chamber of Commerce or reach them by phone at: (928) 774-4505.
