Copying a Bb Vista Quiz from One Course to Another This tutorial will show you how to copy a quiz from one course to another AFTER you have already copied a Bb Vista course into a new shell. When you copy a Bb Vista course into a new shell from one semester to the next, then all the quizzes automatically get copied as well.

Log into Bb Vista by typing http://vista.nau.edu in the address bar, and select Go or press your Enter key.

Select the Log in to Vista button.

Type in your jan UserID and Password, then select Login.

Choose the course with the quiz you want to copy.

Go to the Build tab.

Select Assessments from the Course Tools menu.

Find the quiz you want to copy, then select Export from the action link dropdown menu.

Select Class Files on the far left hand menu.

Then locate the class where you want to copy the quiz to.

Save the .zip file with a new name (i.e., CopiedQuiz1). If you would like to copy your course to a different folder within this course, be sure to select that folder first before you Save as.

Once you type the new file name, then select OK.

After the quiz has successfully exported with 0 errors and 0 warnings, then select the Return button.

Now you want to go into the class where you want to copy the quiz to by returning to your My Vista.

Choose the class from your My Vista where you copied the quiz .zip file to.

Go back to the Build tab.

Choose Manage Course, which is located down under the Designer Tools menu.

Select Import.

Choose the copied quiz exported .zip file. The file should be located in the root folder; however, if you saved it to a different folder, you will need to click into that folder to find your file.
