Veterans in School
Thursdays, 1:00-2:30 pm
This group provides an environment for Vets to come and discuss problems and challenges they face. The facilitator, also a Veteran, creates a place where Vets can share information about local and regional resources and share experiences with other NAU students who have similar backgrounds. (No pre-group meeting required.) -
Younger Women's Therapy
Tuesdays, 2:30-4:00 pm
This is a therapy group for NAU women to explore personal issues in a confidential, supportive setting with other women. Topics typically include self-esteem, intimacy, identity and multiple life roles, conflict management, interpersonal boundaries, and family-of-origin issues. -
Graduate Student Support
Fridays, 10:00-11:30 am
This is a supportive group for degree-seeking graduate students experiencing stress from school, multiple roles, family expectations, relationships, and other personal concerns. Procrastination, depression, and anxiety are frequent themes. -
Eating Concerns
Mondays, 5:00-6:30 pm
Are you preoccupied with weight? Have compulsive exercise, food restricting, or purging behaviors taken over your life? Come and talk with other students who also have difficulty with eating and exercise, distorted body image, and fears about weight gain. -
Bipolar Support
Day and Time to Be Announced
Adjusting to a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder is stressful and strategic. This group will include helpful peer support and approaches to regulating emotional cycles and symptoms. Call for more info.
