Online Application Procedure
Through March 1, applying to the graduate program in Chemistry & Biochemistry is an online process provided by the NAU Graduate College. In ord er to apply, you must create an online user account and pay the application fee of $50. When applying online, there is no need to submit any materials to the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. The Graduate College will take care of this. If applying online is not an option, you may follow the procedure below for submitting a paper application.

Paper Application Procedure
After March 1, you must apply to the graduate program using paper materials. This process requires a separate application for the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry AND for the NAU Graduate College. Please follow the instructions below for both applications.
Graduate College Paper Application Instructions
- Download the NAU Graduate Application form.
- Obtain a copy of your Official Transcripts. If your undergraduate degree is from NAU, transcripts are not required.
- Complete the application, enclose the Transcripts and a $50 application fee, and submit to the NAU Graduate College at the address below. Your transcripts can also be sent directly to the Graduate College.

Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry Paper Application Instructions
- Download the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry Graduate Application form.
- Obtain three (3) Letters of Recommendation.
- Compose a Statement of Interest and Goals, one (1) page maximum.
- Complete the application, enclose the Letters of Recommendation and Statement of Interest, and submit to the NAU Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the address below. Your recommendations can be mailed directly to the Department.
