Course
Description
Aerospace Studies Leadership Laboratory (LLAB) is a
co-requisite with AS 100, 200, 300, and 400 courses. LLAB is the application of
personal leadership skills, demonstration of command, effective communication,
individual leadership instruction, physical fitness training, and knowledge of
US Air Force customs and courtesies.

Class
Deportment
Students are expected to act in a military manner in all
AFROTC classes. This includes calling
the room to attention when officers enter and leave, following military customs
and courtesies and treating fellow classmates with respect.
Course Policies
Attendance:
You are required to attend a minimum of 70% of all LLAB classes or substitute
activities agreed upon by the COC to receive a passing grade. You may be
excused by coordinating in advance
with the COC and by completing a Cadet
Form 16 located in the cadet lounge filing cabinet. Check the posting of LLAB attendance on a
regular basis for accuracy. Note: LLAB for the week of 5-9 Mar will not
occur due to Spring Break.
Assignments: All students are expected to read assigned
material before class.
Evaluations:
You will be evaluated using an AFROTC Form 706, parts 4a and 4b
A student who
"Does Not Meet Standards" in more than two of the areas listed will
not meet overall standards and will fail LLAB.
Examinations: There
are no examinations in LLAB. You will
be required to perform Individual Drill Evaluations (IDEs) and know warrior
knowledge.
Email: All students are required to have an email
account and check it at least three times weekly. AFROTC and class announcements will be posted to your email
accounts.
Grading Policy
LLAB is graded on a pass/fail basis; your grade will be
based on a variety of factors as indicated in the following table. You must meet each of these criteria to pass
LLAB.
