Captain Chris Aliphat

 

Captain Chris Aliphat is currently the Unit Admissions Officer, Commandant of Cadets, and AS100 and AS200 instructor.  

He graduated with a B.A. degree in Environmental Studies from Sacramento State University in December 1994.  He completed commissioning requirements through Air Force ROTC Detachment 88 at Sacramento State.  

Coming on to active duty as a Personnel Officer in February 1995, Capt Aliphat worked in the Military Personnel Flight in charge of Base Personnel Records and the Personnel Readiness Unit at the 9th Reconnaissance Wing, Beale AFB, California.  After less than a year, he was hand selected by the Support Group Commander to work Group and Wing-level readiness issues and as Executive Officer during contingencies.  While there he deployed with the Army to the Joint Readiness Training Center in Ft Polk, Louisiana to exercise bare base operations and air base defense.  He then deployed to Panama working Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel accountability issues for counter drug operations in Central and South America.

In Mar 1998, Captain Aliphat was then assigned to Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea.  There he was assigned as section commander for the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron supporting over 400 personnel.

In April 1999, Captain Aliphat was next assigned to Ramstein Air Base, German as section commander for the 86th Supply Squadron supporting over 300 personnel.  While assigned there, he completed his Master of Arts in International Relations.

Captain Aliphat is not married. His hobbies include studying military history, playing guitar, Jeeps, mountain biking, and hiking.
