Cadets stand vigil around flag. The vigil lasted 24 hours with two cadets standing in one hour shifts. The vigil was concluded by a ceremony that was attended by the Mayor of Flagstaff, representative for NAU President, many veterans, NAU students, and ROTC cadets. The conclusion of the ceremony was punctuated by a formation of four F-16s flying overhead.
