Emergency Loans  

Emergency loans are available to students who need assistance during a cash-flow crisis. All loans must be repaid within six weeks from the time of disbursement.

• Origination fee: $25
• Interest rate: 3 percent
• Available up to $300
• Must be repaid six weeks from time of disbursement

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria:

• you are currently enrolled
• you have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0
• you have paid your current tuition
• your account is paid to date (no past due charges on account)
• you have demonstrated financial need and means of repayment

How to apply

To apply, fill out the application, and submit it:

Turn in the completed and signed application to room 123, Gammage Building.

Please allow 48-72 hours for loan approval. Applications will not be processed on Tuesdays.

Loan availability

Fall

First day to apply: One week before the start of classes
Last day to apply: First Friday in November

Spring 

First day to apply: One week before the start of classes
Last day to apply: First Friday in April

Summer

First day to apply: One week before the start of classes*
Last day to apply: First Friday in July

*Summer session students may apply for an emergency loan one week prior to the enrolled session.
