Janet K. Schnorr Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: You must

• be a full-time undergraduate
• have declared a major or minor in women’s and gender studies
• have a 3.0 GPA or better
• be enrolled at Northern Arizona University
• have completed at least 30 credit hours

Application: You must include

• a one-page personal statement which demonstrates commitment to women's and gender studies issues and concerns
• one or two letters of support from others who know of your commitment to women's and gender issues and concerns

Women's and Gender Studies Scholarship

Eligibility: You must

• be a full-time undergraduate
• have declared a major or minor in Women's and Gender Studies
• have a 3.0 GPA or better
• be registered for courses at Northern Arizona University
• have been enrolled at the university for at least one full calendar year
• have completed at least two classes in the women’s and gender studies degree program

Application: You must:

• write an essay about women's and gender studies
• include at least one letter of recommendation

Conference travel support

We offer some support for travel to conference presentations. To receive support, you must submit:

• a request in writing
• evidence of acceptance of a conference presentation
• evidence that you applied for travel support through
• the university’s Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies 
• the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Dean’s Office 
• if you have a double major, to the home department of your second major
