Pat is responsible for class scheduling and event-planning for the School and assists the Director in managing the School of Communication operations. She coordinates faculty and staff searches and assists faculty with annual reviews, retention and promotion, and tenure matters. She is also the person to see regarding building access.

Pat was selected for the 2008 President's Achievement Award, an honor considered the highest staff recognition at Northern Arizona University.  She is now one of twenty-four people from across the city accepted into the 2011-12 Flagstaff Leadership Program.
