Research & Educational Interests:

An award-winning educator with Northern Arizona University, John has taught within the degree programs of Communication Studies, Journalism, Photography, and Strategic Communication. A journalist since 2001 and  photographer since 2008, John has devoted his educational and professional experiences to the critical study of communication and the mediums with which symbolic reality is created, maintained, and transformed. Hobbies and interests include enjoying nature, athletics, photography, and film studies.
