individual researchers and interdisciplinary centers and partnerships, NAU has demonstrated its leadership in
the field of climate science.
climate-science initiatives are local, regional, and global in scope, and their
impact is far-reaching. NAU researchers have made important contributions to
world-wide efforts to understand climate, including leadership roles in the Past Global Changes (PAGES) project of the International
Geosphere-Biosphere Program. A new documentary about some of these efforts was completed in 2014.
