NAU's Professional Education Programs (PEP) consists of
35 undergraduate and graduate programs across four colleges, College of Arts
& Letters, College of Education, College of Engineering, Forestry, &
Natural Sciences, and the College of Health & Human Services, that prepare
teachers and school administrators, counselors, psychologists, and speech
therapists. During AY 2014-2015, there were approximately 2,400 candidates
enrolled in the undergraduate programs and 1,000 in the graduate programs with
over 600 graduates in the undergraduate programs and over 300 graduates in the
graduate programs. Our professional education programs were the first of public
and private professional education preparation programs in Arizona to receive
NCATE accreditation (2011).
