Monday, October 5 (Clients' Day)

Clients' Day is an opportunity for groups to meet, host workshops and short courses, or participate in field trips. 

Meeting rooms at the High Country Conference Center have been reserved for use by conference participants for side meetings. If you are attending the conference and would like to schedule a meeting room at no charge, please contact Biennial.Conference@nau.edu. Only registered participants may schedule a meeting room. 

Opening Reception and Keynote Speaker:

  • 5:00 – 7:00 pm: Opening Reception at the 1899 Ballroom (Appetizers provided, no-host bar)
  • 7:00 – 8:30 pm: Keynote Speaker: Curt Stager, author of Deep Future and more recently Your Atomic Self, will give us the long-term view of climate change impacts in his talk, which is titled “Climate Whiplash: What Happens After Global Warming?” – Prochnow Auditorium (Admission is free and the public is welcome)
