Connect to LEAD


Connect to LEAD is a new initiative from NAU through Inclusion and Multicultural Services for first-year students of color and/or students who identify within the LGBTQA community.

Connect to LEAD is an opportunity for incoming freshman at NAU to connect with peers and student leaders of diverse identities.  Connect to LEAD is an initiative at NAU through Inclusion and Multicultural Services, aimed to provide community building, identity development and leadership opportunities for first year students.

Beginning the first weekend on campus, first-years will create relationships and have the opportunity to network with campus resources and key staff and faculty who promote diversity through classes, services, clubs, organizations and the greater Flagstaff community.

A free all day workshop for students to:

  • Establish personal connection with peers and student leaders from diverse identities
  • Engage with identity and culturally specific resources
  • Learn the ins and outs of college life
  • Discover leadership opportunities on campus

9:30 AM - Small Continental Breakfast
