Northern Arizona University resources
Counseling Services provides confidential counseling to all Northern
Arizona University students by trained psychologists, counselors,
social workers, counseling and psychology interns, and graduate
Associated Students for Women's Issues provides funding for the NAU SAFE program as part of their commitment to
work towards gender, racial, and ethnic equality. They also offer free condoms
and emergency contraceptives.
Safe Ride is a free transportation system that runs Thursday and
Saturday nights from downtown Flagstaff to campus and nearby
escorts offers police officers and campus safety aides to

Equality and Access Office/ Title IX Coordinator are responsible for investigating
complaints under the Safe Working and Learning Environment Policy, which outlines the university’s
policy regarding prohibited discrimination, harassment, and other inappropriate
behaviors. Students can submit an online complaint form if they feel they are experiencing discrimination or harassment. Students can also submit an anonymous sexual assault reporting form online.
Assistance and Wellness assists employees and their families with
personal and professional challenges, and helps enhance overall
health and wellness.
Arizona Sexual Assault Network is a collective voice that reduces the
threat and mitigates the effects of sexual assault in our state to
achieve a society free from sexual violence.
Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence provides information on
dating violence and legal advocacy, and serves as a voice
representing the needs of domestic violence service providers and the
victims they serve.
Arizona Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Program links to sexual
assault state coalitions as well as to a variety of sexual assault
organizations, networks, and projects. You can also obtain
information on services for survivors of sexual violence and their
family and friends in Arizona and across the United States.
